So, you may or may not be asking yourself, 'Steve, why does it take so long for you to post pictures?'. Well, the answer is simple really. Laziness. I haven't felt like taking pictures. It's getting warmer in Kiev and another revolution of sorts is underway. Warm weather + national political crisis + revolution = new pictures. Someone should check my math, I'm terrible at math. The pictures above are from the initial setup of the transfer suite. We have actually been running since the beginning of March. Things look a little different now. All of the pictures have been captured with a colleagues digital camera using my sigma 17-35mm lens. The dark figure in these images is Vlad. He was responsible for the setup and installation, having never set up a telecine before he did an amazing job. Hats off to him! I have burned off four new rolls of film over the past two weeks. When those get processed and scanned I will be posting furiously. Anyway, this was never really a daily photo blog. I have used it to keep friends and family up to date on my whereabouts with modest success. Hope all who read this are well...I am! That's it from here, more later.....

Hi Steve,
So you're in Kiev now. Awesome. How's the city? I loved the photos of the indoor market in Kiev. Beautiful deep tones. The B/W's from Saskatoon were great too. Take care buddy and keep them coming!
Herman.
