A Lazy afternoon on Juhu Beach. Its a national holiday today which signals the beginning of the Ganesha festival. Burned off some of the afternoon with a walk on the beach...made a stop at the Seaview bar to take in the sights, sounds and um, beer. Watched the number of people on the beach swell while reading a book by Timothy Crouse called 'The Boys on the Bus'. He was writing for Rolling Stone on how the media covered the 1972 presidential election between McGovern and Nixon. Crouse, "witnessed the birth of campaign journalism", good stuff...
